Antiviral brands for FIP
The brands most used in Spain to treat feline FIP with GS-441524. Objective information on concentration, presentations and dosing. No commercial affiliation.
Important notice: treating FIP with antivirals must always be done under veterinary supervision and in accordance with the regulations applicable in each country. In some European countries there are legally marketed remdesivir and GS-441524 preparations, which does not mean that they hold a marketing authorisation specifically for treating FIP. Always verify the origin and concentration of any product before giving it.
Options available in Spain
The three injectable GS-441524 brands most used by the Spanish FIP Warriors community.
Lanzi
Oral availableAvailable in injectable vials and oral capsules. The only one of the three brands offering both, which makes it a flexible option where the daily injection is difficult.
Lucky
Injectable onlyInjectable vials at the standard 15 mg/ml concentration. Widely used within the Spanish FIP Warriors community. No oral presentation available.
Pine
Injectable only6 ml injectable vials at 15 mg/ml. No oral presentation. The larger volume per vial compared with Lucky can mean opening new vials less often.

Things to weigh when choosing a brand
The different brands offer varying concentrations and presentations. The choice depends on the form of FIP, the weight of the cat, how easy it is to administer, and what is available at the time of treatment.
- The choice of brand should always be supervised by a vet experienced in FIP.
- Treatment must be followed for the full recommended period, usually 12 weeks, without interruptions.
- Getting the dose right for the weight of the cat and the form of FIP matters.
- Brand availability can vary by moment and region.
- The route of administration, injectable or capsules, can be the deciding factor for some owners.
